The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country in Western Asia of around 9.6 million inhabitants. It is part of the larger regional organisation, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), along with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The whole region comprises of 65 million inhabitants.
Just some of the high growth categories in the UAE are: Savoury Snacks, Sweet spreads, Breakfast cereals, Baked goods and Supplements. In the Health category, consumers are looking for alternatives such as organic, vegan and gluten-free options.

How does this project work?
Following a full onboarding session with our team, we will require product samples, brand slide deck and all supporting marketing materials to take out to the UAE. The market visit will last 3 weeks and include meetings with our retailer and distributor network to discuss new product opportunities.

Eva Bold
Eva Bold is an ambitious new brand, launched in June 2021 with a range of savoury and sweet low carb snacks. Plant-based and with additional protein focused on people with an active lifestyle who follow a low-carb or ketogenic diet. Their keto seeded crackers were finalists in the new product showcase at this year’s event and they are set to launch into Planet Organic stores in London this May.
Overview
Following our trip to the UAE in January 2022, we introduced the brand to a number of key players in the health and wellness sector. Eva Bold have now supplied Qatar and are in the process of registering their full product range in the UAE for distribution with the largest pharmacy chain in the region.
The benefits of this new partnership include.

This module will take 30 minutes to complete and additional time to research your own market selection criteria.

- Discount other markets to create a more focused approach
