Manufacturing Growth Programme 2022
The Manufacturing Growth Programme (MGP) supports Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who are registered as manufacturers to grow their business and can be used for international growth and development.
For eligible businesses within England (both from a postcode and criteria perspective) a grant of up to one third back off the cost of their food, drink or supplement export related consultancy project.
The grant is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support the cost of working with an external expert of your choice to implement a pre-agreed Improvement project as detailed within your Action plan.
Grant values are specific to each business application. Maximum project value of £10,000 would receive a 33.34% grant, therefore £3,340. At Bolst Global we work with clients on export projects ranging from £5000 – £10 000 in value.

Seaweed Agogo enlisted the support of Bolst Global to grow its initial presence in the Middle East. Having won a retailer listing in the region in early 2021 they could see plenty of further international growth opportunities and wanted to seek professional external support to build an export strategy and plan for their brand in the future. Seaweed Agogo accessed the MGF to do just that with Bolst Global as well as continue their journey into the Middle East. From the initial project together new business in the region was successfully achieved and the brand is looking forward to many more export opportunities in 2022 as a direct result of this support.
Sloemotion Distillery engaged the services of Bolst Global via the MGP to support them with establishing their internationalisation strategy. Working alongside the MD, we have been able to create a clear roadmap for target export markets and honed the international offer. This has allowed the business to kick start its international activities in a much more strategic and proactive manner.
